bright, bold, & beautiful blog hop!

hi everyone!

thanks for stopping by today's blog hop hosted by DeNami Design!  it's going to be so fun and beautiful! :D so on to the details...

so yeah, this is going to be a great day.  if you've been following along, you should have come from Pam's awesome blog (hi Pam!) if you get lost along the way, you can always head back to the beginning: they have a list of bloggers participating.

and now, on to my creations for your viewing pleasure... 

this card features the 'love you' sentiment as you can see... it's from a while back, but i still love love love using this on all sorts of cards. and you may notice that sheer ribbon? that's DeNami ribbon :D  you never know how bright you'll need your ribbon to be, always better to be prepared with a large selection!

so the rest of this card is a combination of neon yellow paint (on the butterfly), a neon tag (from Impress), and some washi tape in neon colors (Heidi Swapp, also from Impress, how could i resist?)  also, since the title of the blog hop included 'bold', i decided to add that HUMUNGOUS piece of bling to the butterfly.  she doesn't mind one bit.

i have to say that neon is somewhat hard to capture on camera, so if you saw this in real life, your eyes might be burned out of their sockets.

but once i got going, i couldn't stop...

here you can see a close up of the 'baby' stamp i used from DeNami (along with that single small polka dot one) that i stamped using a bright pink Tombow marker... i didn't have any neon ink, but i did have a super bright pen! :D  yay!

the washi tape is another strip that i cut down from the first card i showed you.  the tag is also from Impress, but the doily is Martha Stewart, and that lovely layered flower is from Michael's (clearance, can't remember the maker). ooh, and see those little stars?  again, my neon yellow acrylic paint to the rescue... i painted some of those stars from Studio Calico, and here we are!
